Current pathway

Service with responsibility

Interest becomes service only when a real need exists.

A governed path from adult application and human review to a defined, supervised assignment with clear limits and accountability.

The pathway

From interest to accountable action.

Every stage must be usable before the Foundation describes the pathway as active delivery.

01

Express interest

Adults describe their availability, skills, location and preferred way to contribute.

02

Human review

The Foundation reviews fit, conflicts, safeguarding needs and whether a genuine opportunity exists.

03

Define the role

Accepted applicants receive a bounded assignment, responsible supervisor, duration and expected conduct.

04

Serve and learn

Contribution is recorded, reviewed and improved; further responsibility must be earned and approved.

What this can include

Defined activities—not vague promises.

Activities proceed only when the required people, safeguards, resources and approval are in place.

Community outreach

Logistics, education support, event preparation and appropriate follow-up around approved activities.

Professional contribution

Qualified people may support health, learning, governance, technology, research or communications within their competence.

Remote and diaspora service

Defined research, mentoring, administration, design or technical work that can be supervised across locations.

Youth-facing service

No unsupervised child contact. Safeguarding, screening, consent and approved leadership must exist first.

Public promise boundary

What this pathway does not promise.

  • Applying does not create membership, employment, authority or automatic placement.
  • Volunteers do not diagnose, treat, counsel or represent the Foundation beyond their approved role.
  • No child-facing placement before safeguarding and role-appropriate screening.
  • Private beneficiary information is shared only when necessary and authorized.
