Developing pathway

Leadership through contribution

Young people need responsibility, protection and room to grow.

A developing pathway for confidence, character, learning, service and age-appropriate leadership around approved education, community and football programs.

The pathway

From interest to accountable action.

Every stage must be usable before the Foundation describes the pathway as active delivery.

01

Create a safe setting

Approve the purpose, age group, responsible team, location, consent and safeguarding arrangements.

02

Learn through practice

Use guided projects, discussion, teamwork, communication and service—not titles without responsibility.

03

Receive mentorship

Match participants only through a structured program with boundaries, supervision and escalation routes.

04

Demonstrate leadership

Participants plan, contribute, reflect and gradually take on age-appropriate responsibility.

What this can include

Defined activities—not vague promises.

Activities proceed only when the required people, safeguards, resources and approval are in place.

Learning circles

Facilitated sessions on communication, decision-making, wellbeing, digital responsibility and community awareness.

Service projects

Small, supervised contributions connected to a verified community need and followed by reflection.

Career exposure

Honest conversations with appropriate professionals without promises of admission, travel, employment or sponsorship.

Football leadership

Where approved, sport can support teamwork, health, discipline, learning and service within the wider youth pathway.

Public promise boundary

What this pathway does not promise.

  • No open child intake until guardian consent and safeguarding workflows are approved.
  • No private or unsupervised mentor-child communication.
  • No promise of scholarships, travel, trials, contracts, jobs or professional sport.
  • A participation record does not confer a license, academic credit or employment status.
